The Adams Street Early Learning Center was established in the year 2000 and is owned by Christine Lenane. The center is licensed by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Early Childhood Education and Care.
Philosophy The philosophy of the Adams Street Early Learning Center is to cultivate the young child's emerging self-concept with a diverse preschool program. As children grow and develop they begin to play cooperatively in groups. We teach children to respect and accept differences by showing them how to appreciate each other's point of view. We strive to cultivate a multicultural community where children benefit from learning to interact positively with one another. Teachers In order to provide a high quality preschool program, ASELC maintains a 1:6 teacher to child ratio. Each classroom is staffed with highly educated teachers who hold a Bachelors degree or Masters degree in Education. All teachers are qualified through the Department of Early Education and Care and are dedicated to the field of Early Education. |
