Thank you to the Milton Firefighters for taking the time to teach our children about fire safety last week. Our field trip to the fire station was so much fun!
Our new guinea pig now has a name - "GUS!!" Kids on all three floors provided suggestions and the winner was picked out of a hat.
Gus is very cute and does look like Gus from Cinderella. The name was Ms. Pam & Ms. Kathy's choice. We think he will be available to go home weekends starting in October and a sign in sheet will be on the second floor desk if you are interested.
Our Open House for new families will be on Saturday, November 4th from 10:00 - 11:30 AM. Come see the school, meet the teachers, and learn about our programs.

As summer comes to a close, we are looking forward to another fun filled year at Adams Street -- and we can't wait to hear about our graduates' new kindergarten adventures!
In case you haven't already heard, our chicks have hatched! All four are in the brooder and doing well. The kids have been so excited to see them and watch them grow. The chicks will be with us for about 2 weeks before they head off to their new home at the Wakefield Estates. While they are here, we will be looking to give each of them a special name, as they all look so different. This has been an exciting learning experience for all of us -- especially Ms. Pam who has become the Mother Hen of our cute little chicks!
Some ASLEC students gathered at the school prior to the Halloween Stroll in East Milton Square. Happy Halloween!
